Renowned for its outstanding quality of cinematic sound sets, ProjectSAM has curated the best orchestral and world percussion instruments from their admired True Strike and Symphobia Series, and expanded them with previously unreleased trailer hits, booms and more.

As well as containing sets of individual hits for each instrument, the collection contains nearly 30 Instrument Racks with eight smartly assigned macro controls that let you manipulate the instruments. Cut tails, add reverb, distort, filter, digitalize and pitch in an instant – great for intuitive sound design or giving the sounds a more synthetic feel.

The Racks are divided into three distinct sections:
Orchestral Percussion
From timpani and snare drums to wood blocks and cymbals, this section covers the percussion section of a symphony orchestra. Beautifully recorded using ambient mics at the conductor’s spot that capture the presence of a concert hall. You’ll also find a full range of multi-sampled marimba, vibraphone and timpani Racks. Whether you’re scoring a movie project or wish to add some symphonic power to any kind of production, these sounds have real authenticity and creativity.

World Percussion
Odaiko literally means ‘big, fat drum’, and you’ll find an impressive example of this Japanese instrument in the world percussion section. The section also also contains African percussion with godums, komees, doun douns and bells, in addition to Middle Eastern sounds with darbuka and bendir. All drums make use of 'round robin’ hits (which play back different recordings of the same sound every time you hit the same note) for added realism, and include flams, rims and other special effects that help you create drum patterns full of life and natural groove.

Cinematic Percussion
This section contains versatile sets of tension builders, low booms and more disturbing sounds. They fit straight into soundtracks or scores, or just a few tweaks can add processing to fit in with more electronic styles.
