AnalogX Empirical Labs Fatso EL7x Fatso Profiles (NAM/GENOME)
Plugin Extension | 1.22 MB
We're still rolling with more of the new Series 3 profiles, next up is the infamous Emperical Labs FATSO profiles!
The Emperical Labs Fatso hardware processor was designed to reproduce the warm, ambient sounds produced by older valve processors and magnetic tape machines through harmonic and distortion generation, high frequency saturation (warmth), transformer and tape head emulation, and classic knee compression.
With its unique combination of tape emulation, compression, and harmonic generation, the FATSO enriches your recordings with character and dimension. Whether you're tracking, mixing, or mastering, experience the richness and presence that only the Emperical Labs FATSO can deliver.
We sampled 5 of the most used hardware settings to give you profiles that will work right across your productions, giving you that elusive analog compression and saturation right in your DAW. There's plenty of the Fatso spank to be had in these profiles, but due to the dynamic nature of the sampling feel free to dial it back if you need a more subtle approach, but we guarantee you'll soon be cranking the gain up again to get you firmly back into spanky territory that the Fatso is renowned for.
Other Fatso emulations have come and gone, and most of those digital recreations lay resting in the audio plugin graveyard on many hard drives across the world, but were about to resurrect faith in true analog plugins with the AnalogXAi sampled Fatso profiles! We promise that you'll look at software based compression in a new light after trying our Series 3 Tech.
