The “BLU-12C” is based on and seeking to recreate the sound of 12 inch, 8-ohm, 75-Hz cone Celestion® T0530 blue AlNiCo speakers made in January of 2001.

The Cabinet (212 VC30)
"This particular cabinet - not just this kind, but this specific one - has become one of my all time favorites for what it does. The tone is vibrant, yet controlled, with just the right balance of openness and fullness, and just the right slight hint of boxiness that makes British combo amp tones shine. The fact that this cabinet is made from void free birch rather than the MDF that this manufacturer used in later years is certainly a comprising factor."

The Speaker (BLU-12C)
"This particular driver is a great middle ground representation of the way the sound of this model of speaker has changed from its Pulsonic cone origins to its current re-issue. Sitting somewhere in-between vintage and modern, the tone has some bark without being woolly, chime without being brittle, and adapts very well to various guitars and amps as a result."
