Collaborating using Team Projects
This release introduces Team Projects, a hosted service for CC enterprise users that lets editors and motion graphics artists work collaboratively in projects within Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC, and Prelude CC. This service adds deep collaboration features such as version history and smart conflict resolution. Post-production professionals can share their edits and get the latest changes from collaborators, allowing concurrent changes to happen on a single project – which is powerful for workflows where visual effects and motion graphics are being done in After Effects at the same time while the project is being refined in Premiere Pro.
Introduced earlier in 2016, the VR workflow in Premiere Pro now offers more improvements. You can work with stitched equirectangular video to show field-of-view, enabling you to replicate viewing experiences while you edit your content. New VR support expands on the powerful virtual-reality features that are part of Premiere Pro.
Take the guesswork out of keyboard-driven editing and work faster with new visual keyboard shortcut mapping. Learn commonly used shortcuts with the default shortcuts map, or customize your own keyboard optimized for the way you want to work.
Expand your audience with captions and subtitles, whether to enliven silent auto play video previews on Facebook, generate versions for different languages, or improve accessibility for hearing impaired viewers with closed captions. Easily create, fine-tune, and version captions, including tasks like text manipulation and altering duration and location right in the timeline.
The color toolset in Premiere Pro is ever-expanding, allowing editors to work deeply with color. Expand your creativity with enhancements to the Lumetri Color tool set. New color pickers allow you to make immediate, intuitive selections directly on the video itself when working with HSL secondaries and white balance. Premiere Pro now delivers the best HDR viewing experience for your audience with support for HDR10 metadata workflows, enabling editing of HDR10 and output for new HDR-enabled TVs and displays.
Sharing your projects via destination publishing allows you to render and share videos to popular web locations from directly within Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder CC. With the addition of Publish to Behance, you can publish your videos directly to your Behance portfolio, the world’s largest creative community. Whether you’re posting to your favorite social media site such as Behance, YouTube, Facebook or Twitter, or want to share your productions privately to Creative Cloud, destination publishing gives you a fast delivery system to meet your needs.
You can now use Live Text Templates to include dynamic graphics with video content in Premiere Pro. Since this helps you to directly edit the text within those graphics, you don't have to work directly inside After Effects. Live Text Templates are ideal for adding visual production value to any type of recurring content, such as tutorial videos, web series, broadcast graphics, and more. Using Live Text Templates, an After Effects user can create an animated lower third, intro or outro, and choose which attributes are editable in Premiere Pro, ensuring both visual consistency and flexibility.
can load your files and start working, even during ingest regardless of whether you work with native source file formats, or lightweight, auto-linking proxies. Along with more efficient ingest of camera media, this version also provides for native QT DNxHD / DNxHR export.
