Futuremark PCMark 7 v1.4.0 Professional Edition | 304 MB
PCMark 7 is a simple, yet handy benchmarking utility that you can use to test the overall performance of your system, as well as the capabilities of different hardware components.
The program's interface is clean and simple, displaying the available tests, the benchmark progress and the results in separate tabs. Seven PC tests are included to measure different areas of system performance, but only the PCMark test is available in the basic version.
There are not lots of options to choose from, as you just have to select the desired test type and start the benchmarking process. The PCMark test is the one that measures the overall system capabilities and generates a PCMark score, which you can save to your computer or submit online, in order to compare results with other users that have a similar hardware configuration.
The PCMark benchmark suite can perform an analysis of a wide range of workloads, such as video playback and transcoding, image manipulation, web browsing, decrypting, graphics, system storage and more.
The 'Lightweight test' is designed to work with entry-level systems, while the common usage performance is measured by the productivity, entertainment and creativity suites. The first one tests website and application loading speed, the second includes a collection of workloads for measuring computer behavior during file recording, video streaming, playing TV shows or gaming, while the latter analyzes the effects of viewing, editing and trascoding photos and videos. Also, there are special tests for hardware components, including storage capacity or computation.
All in all, PCMark 7 provides you with an easy to use tool for performance evaluation, verifying system stability and overclocking capacity.
Here are some key features of "PCMark 7":
Offline result management:
· By default, PCMark 7 submits and stores your benchmark results online on the PCMark website. If you have PCMark 7 Advanced Edition you can also save your result files to your hard drive or other local offline location.
Your own personal account:
· A personal account allows you to save your results in one place, add and edit descriptions and comments as well as granting access to all the available features and tools.
Browse, search and compare results:
· One of the most common questions from users after running a benchmark is “Is my score OK?” The PCMark online service lets you browse, search and compare results from millions of other users. In addition, every time you submit a result you will see how your score compares to those from others with similar hardware.
