Bevy is a launcher that shows you all of your application icons in a single window that can be opened with a global hot key, from the menu bar or by clicking its dock icon.
You just specify folders where your applications are located and Bevy creates visual groups of icons for each folder. To help you quickly find the application you're looking for, a key press will highlight applications with matching names or you can drag-and-drop a file to highlight compatible applications. How cool is that? In addition, you can hide rarely used apps and un-installers so they won't clutter your window. And Bevy is always up-to-date because it uses Spotlight to keep track of changes so you don't have to. Requires OS X 10.7 or later Home Page - http://bergdesign.com/bevy/
After the first run, Bevy need to specify the folder with the application, after which it will transfer their labels to a special panel and divided into groups according to the location in folders. Thus, it can be used to create a visual map of the location of programs, which should make them easier to find and run. In the future, the Bevy uses Spotlight to monitor applications added and deleted in order to keep the list up to date. Opening Bevy happens pressing a hot key or Dock, at the same time if you win in the Quick Launch a file, the application will automatically highlight those programs with which you can open it. Then you can just throw the file in the program shortcut directly into the Bevy.
