LUTPro by CrumplePop is a plugin that lets you apply LUT files to your video inside of Final Cut Pro X. You can use LUTPro to quickly normalize video shot in a “log” format, or you can import your own LUT collection for use in FCPX.

If you ever work with video in a "log" format, you can recognize it right away - it looks low contrast, dull, and unsaturated. In order to get it to look good, you have to hunt down the proper normalization LUT and then figure out how to apply it and use it. LUTPro is a simple plugin that comes with normalization LUTs for most popular "log" formats including RED IPP2, Canon C-Log, and Blackmagic.
Import your own LUTs
Although LUTPro comes with a comprehensive set of LUTs for normalizing your "log" footage, you can also import your own LUT collection into LUTPro. Do you have your own set of creative "look" LUTs, or a new LUT just issued by a camera manufacturer? Just drag and drop any .cube LUT into LUTPro's LUT folder, restart FCPX, and your LUTs will be available for use in Final Cut Pro X.

LUTPro goes far beyond simply applying LUTs. The LUTPro plugin also includes a powerful auto white balance tool, as well as temperature, saturation, density, and professional lift/gamma/gain controls. So after you apply your LUT, you can quickly and easily color correct your video to get it looking great - right inside Final Cut Pro.
