Ever wanted to shoot footage with a look inspired by vintage Technicolor films? Well now you can! These LUTs are meant to capture that saturated look the dye process was known for.
Below is an explanation of each LUT.
3-Strip: Traditional look that specifically calls back to the era of Technicolor films that include The Wizard Of Oz, The Sound Of Music, and The Adventures Of Robin Hood. Warmer color tones, high saturation, lifted shadows so that breathing room is available.
4K77: Emulates the look of the fan project of the same name, which aims to restore an original Technicolor Imbibition print of Star Wars. Other films such as Vertigo, Suspiria, Golffiner, and Mary Poppins are other films that were printed in this dye-process. To emulate the look of 4K77, Shadows have a noticeable shift towards green, color luminance is deeper, shadows are slightly lowered, green and blue tones are cooler.
