PORTAGE is a slab serif that carries its own weight. Adventurous and rugged, this typeface that evokes the wild country and makes headlines stand out. The typeface was built from a land and forest journal from the mid-50's.

A2 Afterall Font Family

A concise family of bespoke fonts originally created for Afterall Journal (2003-), and One Work series (2006-), as part of A2/SW/HK's extensive redesign. Afterall Serif was conceived and designed primarily as a text font; with particular focus given to use in long-form features and essays. The typeface is highly readable; creating a balanced impression on the printed page, but with a distinctive voice, including subtle quirks and flourishes, noticeable when used at larger point sizes.

When type historians look back on Jim Rimmer, they will consider him the last type designer who just couldn't let go of metal type, even though he was just as proficient in digital type. Lancelot is one definite case in point: A face designed and produced in digital as late in the game as 1999, only to spring onto the new millenium a couple of years later as a metal type cast in three sizes. That was Jim, a time traveler constantly reminding the craft of its origins.

Valet Pro Font

Valet is inspired by an uncredited early 1970s all-cap film type called Expression. A very funky lowercase was added and a small caps style was made. The character sets of both styles were also expanded to include support for Central and Eastern European languages, as well as Baltic, Celtic, Esperanto, Maltese and Turkish.

Efflorescence Font

The Efflorescence is a monoline script-style font. It features stunning initials and terminal swashes.
