Become an Adobe Capture expert and the most efficient digital illustrator you know with illustrator, educator, and self-proclaimed "vector-art monster" Rob Generette III!
What if you had the power to capture inspiration no matter where you are? Adobe Capture allows you to do just that, by converting a photo into seven different types of assets: colors, patterns, shapes, looks, materials, type, and brushes. In this class, Rob reveals how he uses Adobe Capture to eliminate unnecessary steps in his process, capture inspiration on the go, and even transform the way he creates.
In this class, Watercolour Grunge Floral in Adobe Fresco, I am going to demonstrate how I created a visually appealing digital watercolour with a unique look. I call this grunge because I tie in paint spatter effects and different digital tools to capture the authentic look of art journal work that I do. I’d like to invite you to join me and we will practice our skills by completing a project together. This project follows a variety of processes from start to finish until we end up with new “natural media” piece. At the end, I have a charming floral design which can be used in a wide range of projects, from dinnerware to greeting cards, pillows to flags, and of course, wall art. Through the process I have learned to use the Fresco software and I have strengthened my skills in producing digital work that looks authentically hand made.

.NET Essentials: LINQ for XML
https://www.lynda.com/Microsoft-NET-tutorials/NET-Essentials-LINQ-XML/2883064-2.html
The first explanation you typically hear about Microsoft LINQ is that it provides an in-language query tool to manipulate the contents of arrays and lists. Explore LINQ further and you’ll find it works with other popular data sources like XML files. In this course, instructor Walt Ritscher shows you how LINQ to XML uses LINQ extension methods to read, create, search, and manipulate XML in a simplified way. Walt walks you through LINQPad, the lightweight, powerful code editor and code runner that is used in this course, then explains how to load XML into different LINQ classes. He covers how you can get different elements and attributes from XML and some of the ways you can work with elements and attributes, after getting them. Walt describes a variety of query operators that you can use. He concludes with a discussion on how you can create and edit XML structure with LINQ.
