CM - Brother Joseph 1953406
Recently I have enjoyed exploring 19th century calligraphy. Exploring beautiful books, journals, letters and documents written by a quill pen or brush. The soft and sturdy paper has a textured surface that interacts with every stroke. It takes you back to a time when you can smell the fresh ink, drying on parchment. Introducing two unique typefaces that compliment each other perfectly. Brother Joseph Script and Display. Inspired from the penmanship of 19th century religious figure, Joseph Smith. The script reflects his every day correspondence while the display was used for emphasized text such as titles or chapter headings. The typefaces include an extended western and eastern European character set for supporting a variety of languages. Also included are inferior and superior number sets for creating an infinite number of fraction combinations. Painstaking effort has been made to provide common ligatures and discretionary combinations to provide consistent flow and a beautiful fit.
