Racine is an organic typeface with thorns. Its subtle yet sharp flared serifs balance the overall softness of its curves. The characters all tend to feel a bit top-heavy, some of them almost upside down, which makes for a very dynamic texture. It has a relatively low contrast but a generous amount of compensation in the connections brings a little bit of sparkle, especially in the bolder weights. The lowercase has a lot of ambition and with its massive x-height, it makes a good display typeface to use with tight leading.
