The Bazaruto Decorative family was inspired by an old fashioned specimen from “Letters and Lettering” by Carlyle & Oring, but you'll find the inspiration has been greatly expanded upon. What began as an all Capitals letterset has been fleshed out to an extended full character (Capitals & Small Caps) set with many features and variants from the original design.
Bazaruto has been an exercise in typographic evolution. The original solid Art Deco style spawned an Engraved version - these are the two styles included in THIS set.
The Bazaruto Decorative Family is loaded with features to give you plenty of customisation options:
- SmallCaps for lowercase (vertically center aligned).
- SmallCaps feature (baseline aligned)
- A Full set of Inferiors and Superiors for Limitless Fractions
- Tabular and Proportional figure sets with Stylistic Alternate style
- Stylistic Alternates feature for simplified letterforms to more traditional style
- Swashes feature for Start, Middle, and Ending character styles
Approx. 764 Character Glyph Set: the Bazaruto Decorative Family comes with a large glyphset including standard & punctuation, international language support, ligatures, swashes, subscript and superscript, and Small Cap letters.
