Castledown Font Family
Since January 2012 we have been working with Castledown Primary School, Hastings, United Kingdom, and with head teacher Neil Small. The project started as a bespoke typeface commission but soon developed into an initiative to develop and unify typography throughout the school.
The commercial release of Castledown includes 8 cuts with both a proportional family (from Regular to Heavy with corresponding Fun Italic and Dotted cuts), as well as a Cursive script variant. Castledown proportional family (Regular to Heavy including Fun versions) comes with Latin-A extended. Castledown Cursive variant currently has Latin-A support but will be extended to include Latin-A extended at a later date. It is supplied in OpenType (.OTF) format.
