Part 1:
In Nature rendering Part 1, we’ll start exploring how to approach to nature rendering, and we’ll start with a simple macro render of a tomato. We’ll use spline/poly modeling to create the plant and the tomato, then we’ll start to prepare a basic version of its materials. The illumination will be done using a HDR map. In Part 2 we’ll focus on creating more realistic shaders and trying to finalize the project.
Part 2:
In Nature rendering Part 2 we’ll work to obtain final image. We’ll start fixing some modeling problems on the tomato mesh, then we’ll tweak the camera position to have definitive scene. We’ll work on final materials for plant and tomato using the VRaySSS2 and using some additional textures. We’ll tweak the water drops and we’ll add a little layer of “fur” over the plant using the VRay features. To obtain final look we’ll work in Fusion using some rendered passes.
