These public domain renaissance paintings are fantastic to gently overlay into backgrounds of painterly looking portraiture. I have curated over 100 of them from the Rijks Museum in Holland in an easy and free pack for you to download. Note that whilst these are fantastic for personal projects and domestic client work, most photographic competitions do not allow the work of others (copyright or not) to be used in your work.
