The ITIL® Release, Control and Validation (RCV) course builds on the principles covered as part of the ITIL® Foundation course and is focused on the release, control and validation processes in a service lifecycle. The main objective of this training course is to impart, test, and validate the knowledge on industry practices in service management as documented in the ITIL® Service Lifecycle core publications. The ITIL® Release, Control and Validation (RCV) course imparts the students with practical knowledge of the ITIL® service lifecycle and processes associated with the release, control, and validation (RCV) of services and service delivery. The course mainly focuses on the operational-level process activities and supporting methods and approaches to executing these processes in a practical and hands-on environment. The course requires that the students possess a valid ITIL® Foundation Certification or have taken the ITIL® Foundation course.
