I wanted to do this video tutorial on how I use the open in layers command in Lightroom to help me use presets and acheive good skintones.  I don't know about you, but often times I love the tones of a preset, but not what it does to my skintones.  I use virtual copies to edit one copy for skintones and the other for the overall tones of the image.  Then I use the open in layers command in Lightroom to bring both copies of the small photo into Photoshop so that I can use a layer mask to keep the tones and skintones.  It also works well to tone down the strength of a preset.
