This is my first release in a series of videos dedicated to category of composition and processing style loosely known as "Perspective Blending" which is becoming more and more popular among some of the heavy hitters in landscape photography these days.
This first video is an introduction to stitching extremely wide angle, horizontally exposed, and focus stacked exposures into a vertical image orientation. This is done to expand the field of view when extremely close to your subjects. Home Page - http://www.ryandyar.com/perspective-blending
The photo above is stitched together by hand and is the example image used in the video. The close proximity to both the large mountain in the background and the foreground flowers meant I could have not photographed this in a vertical orientation by any other means than a "Perspective Blend."
