This class will go through a method of how to create your own special effects made famous in theSTAR WARS films. Specifically we will be creating swinging and moving light sabers as well as the effect of force lightning coming from the hands. We will also go over a few tips on sound effects and how to add them to your own project.
In order to do this we will be using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. I picked up some of these techniques from my fellow film students at Cal State Long Beach and also some other friends as well. I will take you step by step on how to create the effects in After Effects and make them look movie-quality and professional.
