Disclaimer: Not a Frontend Engineer, But…

Okay, full disclosure: I’m not a frontend engineer. The projects we’ll build in this course might not win any design awards or adhere to all the frontend engineering best practices. Honestly, I hardly know JavaScript myself! But hey, I come with vast backend knowledge, and together with AI, we’ll make it work.

The course artifacts you’ll create at the beginning won’t be production-grade masterpieces (think of them as the ugly ducklings of code). But as we progress, we’ll tackle security issues and make the code more maintainable—because we like our code like we like our coffee: strong, secure, and something we don’t have to debug for hours.

P.S. Relying 100% on AI for your coding needs isn’t for everyone. There are security concerns, especially when using open-source models. This course is about showing you what’s possible, not necessarily what you should be doing in your day-to-day job. And just between us, I wouldn’t recommend committing AI-generated code to your organization’s repo without giving it a thorough review—unless you enjoy surprise bugs in production. ;)
