This class is for students that want to create their first typography animation. This class is a great introduction to motion design, animation, and Adobe After Effects.

In this class you'll learn how to:

• Animate text

• Animate using the position and scale properties

• Use the spreed graph editor

• Use masks

• Use an expression

• An easy way to choose a color palette

• Other techniques such as backgrounds, pre-comps, layer styles, etc.

• How to export your animation to share in the project gallery

You’ll be creating:

• A typography animation using the techniques taught in this class

You can complete the class project by following these steps:

1. Follow along with my video lessons

2. Then take what you've learned and apply it to your own typography animation

3. Download the completed project file on the projects & resources page, it might help if you get stuck on a lesson

What You Need:

• Adobe After Effects

• Adobe Media Encoder to export

To share your class project follow these steps:

1. Export your animation in mp4 format

2. Upload your video to a video-sharing platform such as YouTube or Vimeo

3. I suggest setting your video to "Unlisted" if you do not want it shared publicly

4. On the projects share the link to your video
