I explain my choices and show you how to keep the illustration consistent. Refer to any reference you gathered at this stage.Lesson 4: Painting the Leaves and DetailsWe will draw the leaves in this lesson. I will also teach you a very simple technique for adding detail to both the flowers and the leaves. Adding the details really helps you flesh out the design. I always find there is a first for everything and that it informs my choices for future designs in this style. You will learn very quickly what works and what doesn’t.Lesson 5: Testing Out the RepeatIn this lesson, all the motifs will be finished. At this point, I will show you all the ins and outs of creating a perfect repeat of the pattern.
