Join me in “playful practice” as I create a fun mixed media collage art journaling page in Procreate. I love mixing images with paint and marks to create a unique piece of art that can be framed or can be used in digital art journaling. 

When you take this class, you will:

• Enjoy creating a delightful mixed media collage that utilizes Procreate stamp brushes you have loaded and/or mark making with paint, pencil, ink, charcoal, or oil pastel brushes you may have. Be creative and have fun with the mixed media aspect of this project.
• Learn how to use the saturation and curve tools to turn a colored image into the most pleasing black and white image for your project.
• Discover how to use (or practice using) the freehand selection tool and layer mask to “cut out” digital images.
• Receive digital papers and texture stamps to choose for your project

The project for this class is simple enough for beginners but can also inspire those seasoned Procreate artists to create with various digital mixed media tools. Remember that you can always pause the video while you complete a step and rewind it if you missed how to do something. 

You will need:

• An iPad with Procreate installed
• An Apple Pencil or other pressure sensitive stylus
• A desire to play, learn, and discover
