Abstract Watercolor Butterflies a fun class designed take elements from the anatomy of a butterfly and create an image suggestive of this delicate and wondrous insect. We will start by taking a quick look at my sketchbook image "Illustrated Anatomy of a Butterfly" and then referencing the Abstract Butterfly Templates. Our first step will be creating an ink sketch inspired by those images and then adding watercolor to bring our images alive.

We will create backgrounds for each of five butterflies that are complemented by watercolor's flowing texture and brilliant colors.

The class is broken down into 5 Butterfly Lessons and you are welcome to create your favorite one or all five.
