Have you ever seen a product where you did a double-take and envisioned how it might look different and then made it happen? That’s what I did in this class. I was perusing my own online store when I saw the photograph of a printed bag and thought to myself, “Hey, that looks like a slouched over penguin!” While some people see designs in their heads or variations of designs, I saw this right away and filmed my thinking process as I created my Penguin Drawstring Bag. The result of my observation is several videos where I show you how I tackled this project as it happened. There are no rehearsals, I did it live as I was designing it. This class is perfect for any type of artist whether you work in paints, pencils, pastels, or digital art. I’ll show you where I started and then ultimately show you the printed sample at the end of the class. Then I’ll offer a challenge up to you: to design a product utilizing the physical structure of the product in your final design. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
