We teamed up with Argentinian Pan Flute master and Antara Records founder Alejandro Fatur to bring you this outstanding collection of four traditional Argentinian pan flutes. This sample pack explores a broad range of phrases.
The Toyo covers the bass range, at well over a meter in length with rich sub-harmonics and a fat, breathy tone. The Zanca and Malta span the lower and upper mid-range. Finally, the Ch’ulli reaches into the soprano range.
To capture the feel of a live pan flute in the hands of an expert, Alejandro recorded beautiful melodic phrases for each of the pan flutes. The phrases are organized by flute, tempo, and musical key.
