Most often found playing in weddings, funerals and religious ceremonies, these drums reflect the heart and energy of the drummers and participants. The drums also help direct the crowd’s emotions, creating rhythm and focal points for concentration with their unique sound. Drum construction varies from wood, steel, plastic and animal skins that exist around the community. This recording is designed to maintain the rhythm and feel of the group, keeping the traditional lines and one-shots in the original beat.
