Berlingske Slab is characterized by the heavy serifs providing it with a more robust expression than a normal serif without loosing any of the elegance. The hairlines have been thickened and proportioned for a balanced look, while the serifs are attached directly to the stroke and are similar in weight to the horizontal strokes of the letters. It has a broad use ranging from an elegant thin to an expressive poster and it is very usable for both body text and display.
